Escape the city of Da Lat to enjoy a day of abseiling, canyoning and swimming at Datanla Falls. Canyon through the waterfalls, and rappel down wet and dry descents. Get wet and wild in Vietnam’s Central Highlands.

Escape the hustle and bustle of Da Lat and spend a day getting wet in the Central Highlands at Datanla Waterfall, just a few miles from the city center.

Following a hotel pick-up, you will drive south to the thrills that await. Upon arrival, warm up with your first dry abseiling run down a 59-foot (18-meter) high descent. Your next dry rappel is a jaw-dropping 49 feet (15 meters). Then, it’s time to cool down and get some water on your skin; so jump in and enjoy some free time swimming, before a picnic lunch.

Look out for butterflies and squirrels among the tropical vegetation. Take souvenir photos from the wooden bridge, then get ready for your afternoon activities.

It’s time to turn up the dial and do some real canyoning, exploring the 82-foot (25-meter) high waterfall, with a 46-foot (14-meter) jump into the water from the rocky cliffs as your reward. Your final rappel is the most difficult; descend 52 feet (16 meters) from “The Washing Machine,” named for the fierce waters that rush past you.

Relax once more and swim in the pools at the base of the waterfall, before a short walk back through the jungle to rejoin your transfer van to Da Lat.
