Day 1 :  ARRIVAL IN HANOI – HALF-DAY HANOI CITY TOUR BY PRIVATE CAR
OR MOTORBIKE WITH FEMALE TOUR GUIDE WEARING OUR TRADITIONAL DRESS -
OVERNIGHT IN HANOI HOTEL
 

We will pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel in Hanoi. After taking a rest, be ready to join in Hanoi city tour by private car or motorbike with female tour guide wearing our traditional dress. 

You will be met up with our tour guide at your hotel in Hanoi downtown then we head to the first visit - Hanoi Opera House and France Quarter. Next we will cross the bustle street for a short walking inside the campus of the first university of Vietnam – Temple of Literature – which was built in 10th century under Ly Dynasty who greatly influenced by Confucianism. The following stop-off is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda which are highlight to understanding more about Ho Chi Minh President, history of Vietnam war and Buddhism culture of Vietnam.

The next stop is Tran Quoc Pagoda, the headquarters for the Vietnam Central Buddhist Congregation where many important Vietnamese Buddhism activities are taken place. Going along the Youth Road with two lakes in two sides including West Lake, the biggest lake in Hanoi and Truc Bach lake. And then you will move to a Hanoi traditional restaurant for lunch. After short rest, you will continue on motorbike to pass through Hanoi 36 Old Streets.After that, tour guide will take you back to your hotel and the trip ends. 

Day 2: TAKE OVERNIGHT TRAIN FROM HANOI TO LAO CAI

Day 3 : LAO CAI - SAPA AND SURROUNDING ( B,L,D) - GROUP TOUR

The train arrives at Lao Cai station early at about 06.00, meet your guide and driver as you check out and an hour transfer uphill the Hoang Lien Son mountains to Sa Pa. Great views of valleys and terraced rice fields along the way.

After Breakfast your guide will show you around for a brief introduction of this charming town. At the market, ethnic minority people of different groups wearing their traditional costumes made by themselves comes every day selling local products includes vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs…there are chances for making acquaintance and taking photos.

Later you will follow the footsteps uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain for over viewing beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area, paying visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum which tells you a lot about ethnic minority people living in Sa Pa and the northwest region. The rest hours is at your leisure.

 Day 4: VISIT TA PHIN VALLEY -  SILVER WATERFALL  - TRAM TON PASS
( B,L,D) - PRIVATE TOUR

Today morning, you will visit Ta Phin commune 14 km southeast of Sapa town. Located in a large valley, surrounded by high mountains, which covered by pine trees and forest, Ta Phin Commune is home to the Red Zao and Black H’mong ethnic. Although living close to each other for years, these two ethnic peoples are very different: The H’mong are cheerful and open minded while the Red Zao are economical and reserved…

Taking a short drive to the center of the valley, you will enjoy an easy walk following village path around the valley, paying visit to H’mong hamlets scattering from the bottom of the valley to higher mountain slopes. From high elevation, great view of the valley stretching under your foot. Continue your walk to the Red Zao village in which you will meet groups of women making handicrafts includes embroidered clothes, handbags… Transfer back to Sapa for Lunch and noon break.

Afternoon, you will be picked up at about 14.00 and then drive up hill to see the famous Silver Waterfall and then onto Tram Ton, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at 1,800 m above sea level for enjoying the magnificence of Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range as well as over viewing spectacular landscapes of the whole area, stretching endlessly. Transfer back to Sapa and relax.

Day 5 : TRIBAL VILLAGES VISITING IN MUONG HOA VALLEY  - NIGHT TRAIN
TO HANOI ( B,L,D) - GROUP TOUR

Today you will spend the whole day exploring the spectacular Muong Hoa, famed as the most beautiful valley in the region. A Jeep will take us out of the town, following the only road built on the side of a mountain range, looking down the valley, over viewing magnificent landscapes composed of high mountains, deep valleys, and stream of water winding, waterfalls and terraced rice paddies…Many time, leaving the main road, you will visit tribal villages such as Ta Van of the Zay, Su Pan of the Black H’mong.There are chances for meeting and contacting locals at home and at works.

Leaving Lao Chai - Ta Van Villages  in late afternoon for journey back to Sapa, you have an hour for shower and packing before transfer down hill to Lao Cai station for taking the night train to Hanoi which arrives in Hanoi early at 05.30 to 06.00 next morning.

Day 6 : HOA LU – TAM COC DAY TRIP – OVERNIGHT IN HANOI HOTEL

08:00 Picking up from hotel/stay.

08:30 Starting drive to Ninh Binh Province

10:00 Arriving at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

10:15 Visiting King Dinh and King Le’s temples.

11:30 Arriving in Tam Coc Wharf.

11:45 Having buffet lunch with Vietnamese Cuisine.

13:00 Getting on Sampan boats through caves and visiting countryside landscape

15:00 Back to Tam Coc Wharf to chill out.

15:15 Biking on country road around village

On this day, you will depart to the Mekong Delta for one day trip.

Upon arrival in My Tho, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the river and take a short walk to a handicraft workshop where products are made from coconut trees.

Moreover, you will have an exciting experience when riding a horse-drawn cart, a traditional vehicle of the locals, to visit a local house and taste a cup of tea together with home grown fruits.

Move to sampan and along small canals in the Mekong Delta. After lunch, you will visit a family-run business making coconut candy before returning to My Tho and come back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, you will stop for visiting Vinh Trang Pagoda if time is available.

Sleep at hotel in HCM city center.
 
Day 16 : Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at hotel and head to the Cu Chi tunnels, an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese soldiers during their struggle for independence.

Arriving at Cu Chi, you’ll spend time exploring the maze of tunnels including the secret cellar-door, museum of self-made weapons, shooting range, garment-factory ammunition to deeply understand how the Vietnamese soldiers were able to survive in this tiny underground network. Then, you’ll be driven back to Ho Chi Minh city.
