Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Day 2: 4-hour Hanoi city tour by motorbike with female tour guide wearing our traditional dress (L)
You will be met up with our motorbike-riding- tour guide at your hotel in Hanoi downtown then we head
to the first visit - Hanoi Opera House and France Quarter. Next we will cross the bustle street for a short
walking inside the campus of the first university of Vietnam – Temple of Literature – which was built in
10th century under Ly Dynasty who greatly influenced by Confucianism. The following stop-off is Ho
Chi Minh Mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda which are highlight to understanding more about Ho Chi
Minh President, history of Vietnam war and Buddhism culture of Vietnam. The next stop is Tran Quoc
Pagoda, the headquarters for the Vietnam Central Buddhist Congregation where many important
Vietnamese Buddhism activities are taken place.
Going along the Youth Road with two lakes in two sides including West Lake, the biggest lake in Hanoi
and Truc Bach lake. And then you will move to a Hanoi traditional restaurant for lunch. After short rest,
you will continue on motorbike to pass through Hanoi 36 Old Streets.
After that, tour guide will take you back to your hotel and the trip ends.

Day 3: Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Bich Dong - Overnight in Ninh Binh (L,D)
Get picked up by our tour guide at your hotel in Hanoi and then depart for Hoa Lu, which is once
depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam, settled up in the 10th century. Visit temples of two dynasties of
Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time, the ancient Hoa Lu Citadel.
Then take a half-hour walk up one of the surrounding limestone karst hills, the climb is rewarding with
In the late morning depart for Tam Coc, taking boat trip on the scenic Ngo Dong River to visit Tam Coc
which is known as Halong Bay on land. Boating in a sampan on the winging river watching the local life
is an excellent idea you should not miss. Visit 3 caves as water grottos – ancient Vietnam capital area

Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the

CYCLING RIDE Those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed a 40
minute cycling ride along country lane, experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields
Day 4: Bai Dinh - Trang An Ecotourism - Transfer back to Hanoi - Take a night train/night flight
to Hue (L)
Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ninh Binh and then transfer to Glimmering Bai Dinh
pagoda complexes, the largest pagoda, not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast of Asia. Scenically set
on the foot hill of Dinh Mountain surrounded by amazing views of the exquisite river valley below and
dotted and the limestone karsts dotted around which will take your breath away.
This pagoda complexes stunningly boast an array of the most massive and magnificent architecture of
Vietnamese tradition refined ever built that it take a full day to explore all. So you will visit some of the
highlights that owned the national:
500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats)
2 huge bronze bells, one weighs 27 tons, other weighs 36 tones
Three bronze statues of Tam The (50 tons each)

After that -Leave for the Trang An Grottoes, an out-standing natural beauty of majestic limestone

Deep into the linked chains of towering mountain are pristine places of mystical valleys, numerous fresh
water ponds, and jungle.
Situated near Tam Coc, Trang An is a nature reserve similar to Tam Coc however less visited. Limestone
hills surround a peaceful river which passes through a series of caves (one which takes 15-minutes to pass
through in darkness).
Embark on a traditional sampan gently rowed down the exquisite river through numerous caves: Ba Giot
Cave, Hang Toi ( Dack ) cave, 320 meter long, Sang (light) cave, 90 meter long, and Hang Nau
Ruou (Cooking wine) cave, 250 meter long… Every passages bring new surprise of mystery hidden
inside isolated valleys of tranquillity that likely transformed to the other world and time. The fauna and
flora is rich and a scene of a goat jumping from one cliff to the other is a common sight.
Following is time for Leisure cycling on rural roads alongside the extensive canal network and through
small villages with back drop of a maze of Limestone Mountains. Then our tour guide will take you back
to your hotel in Hanoi (for night train) or directly to the airport (for night flight) to tranfer to Hue.
- Day 5: Hue city day tour (L)
At 8h15-08h30am, after the breakfast at the hotel, we will spend time for a boat trip cruising along
Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Minh Mang king tomb. Next, we will visit the Incense
traditional village before returning city center for lunch. In the afternoon, we head to visit the
famous sites in Hue Citadel with the famous sites such Imperial Citadel: Flag Towel, Thai Hoa
Palace, Ngo Mon Gate, 09 Urns, Forbidden Palace, Khai Dinh King Tom. End the tour at Dong Ba
Marker where you will be free at leisure on your own. Overnight in Hue.
- Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (L)
After breakfast, we will be on 3 – hour journey to Hoi An.
Start your day by a warming-up around Lap An lagoon – famed as Venice of Vietnam. Ready to face
our challenge of the trip, which is most unforgettable moment by climbing uphill the fantastic Pass
of Clouds (Haivan pass).
We will drive and stop at the Hai Van Pass, and visit the Cham Museum in Da Nang, once center of
the ancient Cham civilization. The Cham people left a legacy of excellent sculptures, now housed in
the only museum of its kind in Da Nang, as they were pushed south by the advancing Vietnamese
invaders. Close by Da Nang is My Khe Beach, immortalized for many from the U.S. TV show and still
one of the most spectacular beaches in Asia. Continue to the Marble Mountains for a photo stop en-
route to Hoi An. These five rocky outcrops are said to represent five natural elements, and are the
source of many intriguing legends. They house temples and once even an army hospital! You will
see skilled artisans carving all manner of statues from marble sourced locally at the mountains'
Arriving in Hoi An in the early afternoon, we enjoy lunch, check in hotel and free at your leisure.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7 : Hoi An - My Son (L)
At 08h30, after the breakfast at the hotel, we will come to pick up and then depart for My Son Holy
Land, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital
and religious center of Champ people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My
Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia’s greatest archaeological sites,
including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in
Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Back to Hoi An for
lunch. After the relax, it is light excursion to go around tiny town of Hoi An for city tour: 400 years
old Japanese Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants’
house. Finally, enjoy a boat trip cruising on Thu Bon River to enjoy the sunset before return to
hotel. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 8 : Transfer to Da Nang airport - Departure back to your home
