Fried Glutinous cake (Bánh rán)

      With the outer shell made of glutinous sticky rice with some sesame on it and the inside layer made from ground green bean with sugar, the cake is call "Fried Glutinous cake".

     Easy to make, suitable for domestic events, the cake has become popular in household menus, especially on special occassions. The cake is most indispensable It is also one of the most favorite dish of children.

     The inside layer is often made of green bean with sugar, but sometimes people can substitute for minced pork with mushroom. But anyway people love the traditional sweet taste.
