15:00 Get to Train Street. We will enjoy a coffee/smoothie while waiting for the train to pass through!
16:00: Get to Thang Long Water Puppet Theater to watch a water puppet show.
17:00: Get back to your hotel.
20:30: Check out late for 1 room. You can buy drinks and chips and bring it to the train. Food and drinks are also available on the train (self-paid)

Upon your arrival, our driver picks you up in a private 16-seater van at the Train Station, then takes you to Sapa Town.

8:00-8:30 After breakfast for a short road transfer in a private 16-seater van heading northwards of Sapa to O Quy Ho with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan, Sin Chai valley, then turn right to follow a narrow road for half an hour getting through the wild region with thick rain forest covering walled-up mountains, passing several waterfalls before arriving to Ban Khoang, a village of the Red Zao ethnic people.
Spend over an hour walking to explore this remote village. Leaving Ban Khoang and process along the road for about 10km (by walking or by private 16-seater van) to Ta Giang Phin valley inhabited by the Black Hmong who live in some small villages scattering along a peaceful stream.
Enjoy an hour lunch break on the bank of a stream before walking along village path which connects village to village to witness daily activities of local life such as plough and harrow the fields, growing, harvesting.
The walk ends in midafternoon, picked up for the road ride back to Sapa. Then we transfer to bungalow in Tavan. (private room with private restroom)
Take a well-earned rest and enjoy a soothing cup of tea before learning the art of Batik painting. The beautiful textiles of the Black H’mong are famous around the world and Batik is a traditional part of H’mong culture. Under threat from modernization, Batik is now only practiced by a handful of villagers. Join a hands-on master class led by a local expert and take your creation home! You will be supporting a sustainable tourism project that supports local women and ensures this amazing art form is handed down to the next generation.
Have dinner at your homestay
After a delicious breakfast, saying thanks and goodbye to the local host, start walking for half an hour to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao people which sits on the top of a hill and looks down Muong Hoa river. After spending time visiting the village, making friend with the Zao and experiencing the hospitality, you will cross the river by suspension bridge and then uphill again to Su Pan village.
After having a picnic lunch, walking to Ban Ho, where the village lies within a beautiful valley, home to the Tay minority who has their traditional houses on stilts and we will share a home-stay night here. Have dinner with the family prepared by the host and your tour guide with the local specialty and wine would be the best time for relaxing and cultural exchange.

6:30am: Wake up early with the rooster's call for sunrise and breakfast, your guide will then take you to visit the ethnic Red Dzao village of Nam Toong on the hill. A strenuous trek will lead you along the mountain side and then down to the river. My Son village of Xa Pho minority comes in view on the other side. You guide will take you visit Xa Pho minority which is the smallest ethnic minority group in Sapa area. You will take a rest and lunch in this village. Afterwards, the private 16-seater van picks you up to come back to Sapa Vista Hotel.
14:00: Another driver with private 16-seater van picks you up at Sapa Town (Sapa Vista Hotel) to take you to Hanoi
20:30: Arrive in Hanoi, get dropped off at your hotel.
